Celebrating a Beautiful Life

Life Story

Anthony (Tony) Richardson was born November 30, 1962 to the union of Lige and Willie Mae Richardson in Ashley county, AR. He then relocated to St. Louis Mo. at an early age where he attended St. Louis Public Schools and graduated from Roosevelt (Roughriders) High School in south city St. Louis. He grew up in south city mainly on McRee where his mother’s home resides. To know Anthony, is to know he was a momma’s boy. He loved Willie Mae with a passion that burned deep. She instilled a lot of amazing qualities inside of him including how to be the person everyone could depend on. I think it’s safe to say, that is a job that he took very seriously. He was a God fearing man, that lived his life by the motto of treating people how you wanted to be treated and led by example. Anthony grew up with some serious medical complications at a very early age. Those complications left him with the heavy prognosis that he would not live past 18, wouldn’t be able to have kids, and a shorten height. 1 out of 3 isn’t bad!!! Even with a short stature, he had the soul of 9 foot giant. His presence announced himself before a word was spoken. He taught everyone around him a new meaning of being the bigger person. Anyone who met him INSTANTLY fell in love with him.
